It's an older piece, surely with a storied history. The way I see it, it was made by a real cottage shop. The stones are all remarkable and cool. The small ones surrounding the center- and the two on the shank (one of which has some damage) are Old Mine Brilliant cuts- and funky asymmetrical ones at that. I estimate the 11 diamonds are 0.10ct on average. They vary in color from near colorless to tinted. It's cool. The center diamond, which I estimate to be about 0.30cts, is near colorless. The cut is early Tolkowsy, round brilliant. It's a clean diamond. VS. The setting work and details are sublime. Tiny bezels - on portions of the edges. Obviously, the shank is totally out of round - it will fit sizes 3.5 to 4.5 Likely it was worked on over the years - certainly, the size was adjusted at some point. I don't want to touch the ring - so, no size adjustment
