The optical properties and overall cut are excellent - the stone has tremendous sparkle. Since the rough was purchased for us, we have photos of the diamond in the rough, prior to cutting and polishing. The picture of the stone from the top down really shows "color banding"- the way that this type of color is not pervasive- throughout the diamond- rather, the color is associated with the "grain" Proper orientation of this structure gives us this amazing color!
