It comes from my buddy who cuts a lot of antique style diamonds. It was the top piece of the octahedron-shaped piece of rough diamond. In general, the top of an octahedron is sawed off the top of the rough diamond - that's how you get the best yield from the entire piece. It's got a cool brown color. Since my buddy cuts old style diamonds, it's got those huuuuge facets on the bottom flashing really bright for a diamond this size
