This creates a "faux halo" of sorts adding great visual size to the ring. The bezel is beautifully done - like liquid metal. The over all finish of the ring is wonderful. Everything is smooth to the touch. The shank is done in platinum and adds a lovely contrast to this ring. The ring is very well made. The shank is substantial, yet extremely comfortable to wear. More details about the center stone The diamond has a wonderful broad rectangular shape with very well proportioned cut corners. The cut is fantastic giving you edge to edge sparkle. The color has been graded Fancy Light Yellow by IGI. We've been fairly vocal in our support for GIA - and have on many occasions shown large discrepancies possible with non GIA labs. Having said that - if a diamond is a good value, with or without the report - the report itself does not make the diamond "bad". In this case, we agree with IGI grading. Comparing it to other stones contained in the tray below, it looks like a Fancy Light Yellow. We agree with the clarity grade of VS2 as well
