The color is vibrant, if somewhat "burnt" in appearance. The depth of color does mute the liveliness of the stone at times, in low lighting. However, give it even a little light and it starts to sparkle. We graded the diamond I1 clarity due to a few clouds. You will also notice what looks like a small chip on the right side of the stone in the close up shots. This is not a chip - it's an "Indented Natural". Basically there was a small cavity in the rough at that area. To polish it out would mean loosing too a large percentage of the stone. As it is the stone has a very nice shape and size for the weight. Put it all together and you have a bargain stone. All these factors reduce the price to where it is now
