This is such a cool piece. We have a dealer who scours through estates- and finds all sorts of cool stuff. In this case, he found the ring, with no center diamond. Looks to be from the early '60's based on the cut of the diamonds. We loved it and bought it from him. Eventually, he found a lovely, clean, colorless OEC that fit the ring perfectly. We bought that too - and you can see the result - it's an amazing piece. about 3/4 of an inch across the top, it's not shy!
