Based on specifics of the cut, I believe it's an authentic antique. Based on the excellent condition of the stone, I believe it's been "refinished". A cutter polishes off any sort of abrasions that older stones are prone to exhibit. The cut is amazing - especially if you're a fire lover. In spite of the small size of a .39ct diamond- this one has some super chunky facets which allow you to frequently perceive fire. It's a nice SI1 - no carbon at all - and it's eye clean. Nice and white G color
