The GIA grades mean little if other conditions are not there. Things like Fluorescence (this diamond has none) overall shape, facet shape and placement- leading to different types of reflections coming back to your eye. This diamond is pretty much edge to edge sparkle. The light reflects a few times around the diamond before bouncing out, at which point it's going in a thousand different directions at once. This is one of the reasons I love my job so much- each diamond is different. Even though I know what the GIA grade is, there's lots of times I get surprised when opening the parcel paper. This is a lovely stone, albeit diminutive in size (it's kinda small, but it packs a punch)
